A Hattrick of Success for Teesside Apprentices
Mobile Mini, has provided three of its apprentices with permanent roles within the company.
After 12 months on an ITEC North East ‘Business Administration’ apprenticeship with Mobile Mini, Cienna Singleton (20) from Middlesbrough, Tom Horn (20) and Hannah Waites (17) both from Stockton on Tees, now have full time administration positions with the company.
Cienna has been given the role of External Sales Administrator and is already stepping up to the challenge of a higher position, as she covers maternity leave for three days a week as a National Account Coordinator. Tom and Hannah will both take on the role of Internal Sales Administrator. Responsibilities include providing full administrative support to Mobile Mini’s UK sales team and dealing with its growing national customer base across the construction, education, retail and event industries.
Newly appointed External Sales Administrator, Cienna Singleton, commented “After leaving school I knew University wasn’t for me, but getting a job was very difficult due to my lack of hands on work experience. Going down the apprenticeship route provided the training I needed, mixed with invaluable on-the-job learning that has been so vital for my future career.
“I’m thrilled to now have a permanent role at such a forward thinking and growing company, so close to where I live. Mobile Mini offers the ongoing training and development I need to progress in my role and is already giving me the opportunity to rise to new challenges as I act up to National Account Coordinator three days per week.”
Mobile Mini’s HR Director, Louise Arnold, has nothing but praise for the new recruits: “Cienna, Tom and Hannah have really shown drive and enthusiasm during their apprenticeships, and their new roles within Mobile Mini are very well deserved.
“As a company we are increasingly investing in young people through apprenticeships, as it has such a positive impact on our UK business. We’ll continue to mentor and involve our new recruits in our company training scheme, to ensure they have long term careers that reflect their abilities. I’m adamant they will rise to, and enjoy, the challenges ahead.”
