Regional Director - North

Northern Region. Flexible Location.

£65,000 – £70,000 Salary, 35% Company Bonus Scheme plus equity plus car allowance

As a result of retirement, we are currently looking for a Operations/Regional Director to join our senior leadership team. As one of two Regional Directors, reporting to the UK Managing Director, you will be responsible for the safe operation and financial success of the branches within your region and we are looking for an individual with strong commercial awareness and interpersonal skills to lead the delivery of our strategy and business improvement plans.

The location for the successful candidate is flexible and could be based at our Corporate office in Stockton on Tees or at any of our depots north of Birmingham across the UK (including Birmingham).

This position is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated, positive leader who the ability to create a high performing team, developing their capabilities and creating highly engaged and engaging managers who can support the delivery of exceptional standards at all levels in the business and a culture which reflects the company values.

Previous experience in the rental industry and a Degree are both desirable but not essential. Sales Director - UK

Flexible Location

Lifting Operations Manager - South

Location: Southern region

Salary: £30k, plus Company Bonus Scheme and car allowance

We are currently recruiting for a talented Lifting Operations Manager to join our dedicated Health and Safety team. The position involves working with our clients in the southern region of the UK although work in the northern region may be required from time to time.
Reporting to the Health and Safety Director, you will be required to undertake the planning and supervision of complex site installations, ensuring best practice is adhered to at all times. As part of the health and safety team you would also be involved in helping improve general safety standards within the company.

Key tasks:

  • Must hold a valid appointment persons CPCS/ALLMI competence card
  • Must have experience of planning and supervising lifting operations in accordance with current legislation and best practice.
  • Must have experience of producing site specific risk assessments and method statements including lift plans and drawings.
  • Be the point of contact for guidance and advice to colleagues on all aspects of lifting operations.
  • Undertake observations of internal and external lifting operations in accordance with the company’s monitoring policy
  • Completion of associated monitoring reports to determine suitability with recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide safety training in certain areas relevant to lifting operations (training will be provided if required)
  • Assist branch managers with the interviewing of potential HGV Driver candidates in relation to driving and experience of loader crane operations

Person Specification:

  • Passionate about working safely to high standards
  • Experience in the portable accommodation industry would be beneficial
  • Computer literate. CAD experience would be advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A valid slinger/signaller qualification is advantageous but not essential
  • Working at height experience beneficial
  • Must be prepared to travel and work occasional weekends
  • Ability to work as part of a team to ensure a positive working atmosphere
  • Be passionate about providing the best customer service
  • Always maintain a positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Be honest and open with customers and colleagues at all times
  • Full clean driving license
