How did you come to work in your current role?

I started out in the call centre at the corporate office and after 6 months transferred to our Middlesbrough branch were I spent 18 months as an Internal Sales Executive. I was asked transfer back to the corporate office as a Sales Representative when Mobile Mini opened their National Sales Centre (NSC). After two years at the NSC, I was promoted to NSC Manager running a team of twelve people. After a couple of years as NSC Manager I was promoted to Internal Sales Manager and am now responsible for managing the Internal Sales Executives based in our branches across our Northern region.

What training and support have you received whilst working at Mobile Mini?

I’ve been very fortunate to work for some great managers and have always received good support and advice and lots of training. I’ve been on four external sales training courses which have been of great value.

What skills have you acquired and how have you transferred these between your different roles?

So many to name, I think I’ve improved my self-management, time management, communication and sales skills enormously since working here.

What do you like most about working here?

The team – Mobile Mini has a great team and I’m happy to be part of it.

What has been the best day in your job?

Helping to set up the NSC with my manager and close colleagues was the most rewarding thing I’ve done.
