Kiveton Park FC

The project

Kiveton Park FC is a community football club based in South Yorkshire. Originally formed in 1881, the club now has 24 football teams in all age groups. In recent years, it has expanded at a rapid rate, with more than 250 men, women, boys and girls currently on its books.

With this sudden growth spurt, the club was facing an issue – it simply didn’t have the space to store its extra kits, equipment and other necessities. That’s where Mobile Mini stepped in.

The solution

The club got in touch with us based on a recommendation from another local business, and we were all too happy to help.

Neil Newman, Kiveton Park FC director said: “Mobile Mini was able to offer us a storage solution at reasonable, charitable rates which has really helped the club in these tough financial times.

“We explained to the company that we needed storage on a tight budget, and Mobile Mini provided us with an excellent package which included a high security lock.”

We provided a secure 20-foot container to the football club, which has allowed it to expand without further storage issues. The unit will be permanently located next to the Kiveton Park FC clubhouse, offering teams easy access to any equipment they may need.

Neil continued: “The Mobile Mini driver was very professional and helpful, ensuring we chose the best site and making sure we had a level surface for the container. We have a very tight access area to our ground and the driver was excellent negotiating the tight access, unlike others we’ve had previously.

“We would definitely recommend Mobile Mini to others. The service we received was excellent and without the container, we would not have been able to expand the growth of the football club.”
