If you think I seem familiar, you probably remember me from my blog back in August of 2016. That blog was written towards the end of my 6-weeks of work experience with Mobile Mini off the back of my Career Ready programme, who set it all up for me.
After writing that blog, and leaving Mobile Mini, I kept in touch with everyone that I had met at work and would often email the marketing department catching up and keeping up to date on the company. Mobile Mini were always available and I was very grateful for the continued advice and support I received as I frantically scrambled through my last year of college.
Then, to my surprise, my previous colleagues emailed me and said that there could be a role waiting for me in between leaving college and starting University as I would be free at this time for a few months. I jumped on this opportunity as it would gain me 10 additional weeks of paid work experience in the marketing department and I was unbelievably grateful.
The role commenced the very first day after leaving college and I was eager to get back to work. At the time of this blog, I have now been here for about 2.5 weeks and I am loving every day. I have already learned and seen so much more. From taking my first ever plane journey to our Bridgend branch, to reporting on an event held at a quarry in Sunderland, to undertaking digital marketing classes and workshops – no two days are ever the same and I am confident that all this experience is massively building up my CV for when I apply for a full-time job in the future.
In terms of my role at Mobile Mini, I am now in charge of running all of our Mr Box social media channels, processing customer surveys, assisting with photoshoots, and helping with internal and external marketing material.
With all of this being said, I am massively looking forward to the next 7 and a half weeks here and I can wait to see what they will entail!
