Mobile Mini Manningtree offer support to local charity
Our community involvement programme caught the eye of Cas Thorpe from The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT), when she was searching for storage container companies online.
The charity, which offers a national network of community-based rehabilitation for people with an acquired brain injury (ABI), has a centre based at Fen House in Ely, which was in need of a storage container. On hearing of their plea for support, Kevin Welton, Branch Manager at our Manningtree branch was more than willing to offer a helping hand with the donation of free hire.
Cas Thorpe, Rehabilitation Coordinator, said: “I googled storage container companies in East Anglia and Mobile Mini came up. Looking more closely I noticed that each depot aims to help communities and can provide 10 storage containers.
“There was a link on the Mobile Mini site which told the story of a young man who needed a gym at home and the company had provided one, so I decided to email them to see if they could help us.
“Kevin visited us first to check the area where we wanted the container to be sited. He was so helpful and interested in what we do at Fen House and was delighted to be helping us. The storage container will make a huge difference to us and I’d like to thank Kevin and everybody at Mobile Mini for their kindness”.
Mobile Mini’s Community Involvement Programme, offers free of charge storage container hire to non-profit or voluntary organisations, where Mobile Mini’s support can make a real difference.
All of our branches across the UK donate up to 10 containers each year free of charge (hire not to exceed 6 months) to worthy community causes. If you think that we can help then please give your nearest branch a call.
