We’re in the running!

We’re delighted to announce that we’re in the running for the North East Business Awards!

The North East Business Awards toast success, celebrate achievement and highlight successful and innovative businesses that are doing fantastic things across the region that is home to our head office and support centre.

This, the 20th anniversary year, promises to be the biggest and best ever and we’re overjoyed to be part of it as a finalist in the Teesside heat of the Apprenticeship, Training and Skills category.

As Benjamin Franklin said: “Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” We couldn’t agree more, and it’s exactly how we do things here at Mobile Mini – involving every member of our team in the business to develop skills, further careers and drive growth.

Our apprenticeships cover a variety of fields from leadership and business admin to digital marketing. But our training opportunities don’t stop there!

As proponents of lifelong learning, our training is not limited to young people or new starters – training should be available to all.

Our MD Andrew said: “We’re honoured to be selected as a finalist for the North East Business Awards alongside some of the region’s biggest and brightest business stars.

“Everything involved in this category isn’t simply a ‘box to tick’ for the team at Mobile Mini, it’s part of our fabric, our DNA.

“As an industry leader, we believe in high standards across the company in everything from service to health and safety – so training and development plays a strong part in that.

“By offering a wide range of opportunities for our team, skills and talents can be developed, building and nurturing our company for the future.

“With everything from apprenticeships to our Driver Development Programme, there’s something for everyone at Mobile Mini. And whether it’s gaining a qualification, or being up to speed with First Aid, we aim to give every member of our team the chance to grow.”

We have everything crossed for the judge’s visit and the awards ceremony itself on March 26th!
